Day Programs

  1. Community-based programs are best for people who can manage their own self-care and have the energy to participate in community activities.
  2. Site-based day programs are licensed and can help with things like taking medications and meeting daily self-care needs.
  3. Behavior management programs are for individuals who need extra help with behavior and include behavior plans and trained staff.

Other Resources

Independent or Supported Living
This service helps individuals live in their own apartments with support. They might live alone or choose to have a roommate. The amount of support they receive depends on the skills they have and the help they need in daily life.

Residential Living
Group homes are shared living spaces where 4 to 6 adults live together. These homes are available at various levels—ranging from 2 through 4—based on the amount of support and supervision each person needs. To help cover the cost of living in a group home, individuals must have Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.

Self-determination is a new way to imagine, plan, and live your life. It offers more authority over what services you buy, what those services look like, and how much you pay for them.

This service provides one-on-one support. Participants can choose and design their day services based on their personal needs and goals. Some common goals include becoming more involved in the community, attending school after high school, volunteering, getting help with employment, and joining the Paid Internship Program (PIP).
